South Seas

In 1989 Pauline Bewick left Ireland with daughters Poppy and Holly carrying copious amounts of art materials and headed to the South Pacific. Captivated by the warmth and exuberance of the Mauri people, their liberating lifestyle, and their dark side, she represented their lives in painting and writing.

“Pauline Bewick has caught the real spirit of the South Pacific with a wonderful blending of images and colours that capture so much of its feelings and moods”

James Michener, author of “Tales of the South Pacific” and noted art collector.
